<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have a couple of days to a week of experience. They know how to put the skis on, and get up by themselves. They know how to change direction with the snowplough position and stop on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Do Snowplough turns on green slopes, discover what “Parallel skis” means, move around easily with skis on using side stepping and duck climb.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to know the instructors and the other members of the White Bear level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize in front of our school. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As they learn new skills and improve during the week, they will practice with their instructor on green and blue slopes as well as the fun park. They will be using cabinlifts and chairlifts. The beginner ski pass is mandatory on the first day. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The White Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, at the top of our kindergarten. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget to give them a skipass to be able to take the lifts and a snack in their pocket for the break !<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has done more than 8 weeks of skiing. He has a perfect control on all types of slopes, making large turns, and short turns on red runs. He knows how to ski safely in the resort, respecting the Safe skiers rules.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Be able to change the rhythm of his turns on a black slope, and enhance his carving technique. Evolve on varied terrain, link jumps in the snowpark. Always follows the safety rules on the slopes and is able to find his way around on a map, discussions about the "mountain culture".<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the Diamond Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize. They will be defined by the levels, age and wishes of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on obtaining a more refined and efficient technique on all types of slopes and snow. The diversity of playgrounds will allow them to discover new sensations and improve while having fun. They practice skicross, learn techniques used in competitions, and continue to learn freestyle in the snowpark. They also acquire the vocabulary specific to each discipline and deepen their knowledge of ski and mountain culture.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date. <br> <strong>More :</strong> We also offer a full package for lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities with the instructors before the afternoon programs. The group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child has the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on Fridays, under the flag of your child’s group meeting point. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their Skipass and a snack in their pocket for the break ! <br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your 5 or more years old has never skied before or just once, a couple of hours.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discovering this new gear and environment, improving coordination, moving around with skis on in our kindergarten. Learning skills such as getting up, breaking the speed, stopping and do Snowplough turns on green slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Weekly program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to discover the ski school. He will meet the instructors and the other children of the group. After a warm up, the group will get acquainted with the ski equipment practicing on different practice set ups. Without skis at first, then one ski on, and once they are ready, with both ! They’ll use our private magic carpet and make their first slides, easy turns and stops in the Prosneige kindergarten. After a couple days, regarding the evolution, the children will be able to practice with their instructor on the beginner area, outside the kindergarten. They’ll learn how to safely use the big magic carpet of the resort and might also take a chairlift ! On snow or on dry slopes. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover the environment, and the ski gear. Move around skis on, with ease. Ski down green slopes using snowplough turns.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> Your week begins under the “Beginner” flag where you’ll meet your ski instructor and the group. You will then walk towards an easy part of the beginner area ( just a couple of meters below the meeting point ) where you’ll start your skiing journey. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice. With one ski on, then two. On a flat terrain, uphill, and finally, when you’re ready downhill. You’ll learn how to turn and stop, and take the moving carpet to get to the top of the slope. You will gain confidence and skills to get safely to the next level.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours : The lessons are taking place sunday to friday from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date.</strong> <strong>More :</strong> The Beginner group ski lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults. Everybody progresses at their own paces and you have the opportunity to change groups during the week. You can also enjoy some breaks and warm yourself up in our chalet on the slopes. Group lessons are an excellent choice. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to improve the technical points of your skiing and to overcome the difficulties you encountered the day before. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your beginner skipass, a snack to keep your energy level up and sunscreen!<br></p>
