Ze Hero at Alpe d'Huez

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has more than 10 weeks of experience. He is comfortable on all kind of slopes with small and large turns. He knows the different ski disciplines and has been introduced to some of them.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Develop new technical skills on the slopes, deepen his knowledge of the snowpark, make changes of rhythm on varied terrain while maintaining control. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, the skiers get to know their instructors and the other children in the Pro-rider level. The groups start together, warm up on skis and then harmonize. The groups will be divided according to the children's ability, age and desires. During the first half day, your child will get back on track with technical exercises set up by the instructor. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on the fact of evolving in safety in the resort in order to gain autonomy. Develop virtuosity skills, such as skiing on one ski, in reverse, without poles...and perfect the technique learned during the previous weeks of skiing. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Pro Rider ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and has the opportunity to change groups during the week. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, under the Pro-Rider meeting point flag. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen ! <br></p>

<p><strong> Who can book this lesson ? :</strong> Any person with a disability who wants to discover the pleasures of skiing, or to practice under the supervision of a ski instructor. <br> </p><p><strong>Goals of the lesson :</strong> Discover new sensations, to have fun, or to go towards autonomy. You choose the duration of the course and the number of sessions during the week. The instructor will then create a customized ski course for you. <br> <strong>Course description :</strong> Once the lesson is booked, our team will contact you to get more information and choose together the equipment adapted to your handicap. Before the lesson, your instructor will call you to set up the meeting point, your expectations, your experience. Our instructors are passionate about their sport and have a strong desire to make this discipline accessible to as many people as possible. <br> <strong>Remarks :</strong> The passenger should be well equipped with several layers of warm technical underwear. The warmer you are, the more you enjoy your lesson and the handiskiing experience. Also, think about the ski pass! !<br></p>

<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> Beginner, you have never tried snowboarding before or just a couple of hours (or on dry slopes).<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Controlling speed with a heel edge or toe edge skid and beeing able to do turns on a green slope.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard bronz ». You will be introduced to you instructor and the rest of the group. The instructor will then explain how the gear works. You will do your first slides in a straight line in the biginner area. After you get familiar with the balance you will be taught how to change directions. At first you might fall so the instructor will also give you different tips on how to get up. During your progression you will discover wich foot you have in front on the board (goofy or regular). Then we will start to learn how to control your speed on the back side edge. The instructor will then teach you how to cross the slop on the back and front side edge. Once you start getting confortable with that you will be taught on how to control speed on your toe edge, the instructor will help you with the toe edge skid. We will then practice the transition between the toe and heel edge postion to be able to link the turns. After you are able to ride down the slope doing both turns you will be taught your first flat tricks like 180 slides.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). <p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> You are confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions and skills improvement on bigger modules and jumps at the park. Carving on red slopes and being able to adapte riding to the terrain. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard expert». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group you will hit the slopes. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, you will mostly ride off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with your instructor. The instructor will help the group to increase your techniqual skills to be able to adapte your riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. You will be taught how to use the off piste security equpement. You will also go to the park and hit bigger modules and practice more tricks.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old).
