<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has more than 10 weeks of experience. He is comfortable on all kind of slopes with small and large turns. He knows the different ski disciplines and has been introduced to some of them.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Develop new technical skills on the slopes, deepen his knowledge of the snowpark, make changes of rhythm on varied terrain while maintaining control. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, the skiers get to know their instructors and the other children in the Pro-rider level. The groups start together, warm up on skis and then harmonize. The groups will be divided according to the children's ability, age and desires. During the first half day, your child will get back on track with technical exercises set up by the instructor. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on the fact of evolving in safety in the resort in order to gain autonomy. Develop virtuosity skills, such as skiing on one ski, in reverse, without poles...and perfect the technique learned during the previous weeks of skiing. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Pro Rider ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and has the opportunity to change groups during the week. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, under the Pro-Rider meeting point flag. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen ! <br></p>

From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date. <br> <strong>More :</strong> We also offer a full package for lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities with the instructors before the afternoon programs. The group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child has the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on Fridays, under the flag of your child’s group meeting point. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their Skipass and a snack in their pocket for the break ! <br></p>

The Alpe d’Huez is situated on a fully south-facing plateau at 1860 m above sea level, and its skiable area enjoys maximum exposure to the sun. So enjoy a day’s skiing in the sun: up to 7 1/2 hours a day of sun in December, up to 11 hours a day in April. The French Weather Bureau has recorded an average of 300 days’ sunshine a year at the resort! Also, on a fine day, you can see 1/5e of France from Pic Blanc.
