Ze Hero at Alpe d'Huez

<p><strong>Experience :</strong> Beginner, your child has never tried snowboarding before or just a couple of hours (or on dry slopes).<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Controlling speed with heel side or toe side skid and beeing able to do both turns on a green slope.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard bronz ». He-she will be introduced to you instructor and the rest of the group. The instructor will then explain how the gear works. Your child will do his-here first slides in a straight line in the biginner area. After you get familiar with the balance he-she will be taught how to change directions. At first they might fall so the instructor will also give them different tips on how to get up. During their progression they will discover wich foot they have in front on the board (goofy or regular). Then we will start to learn how to control speed on the heel edge. The instructor will then teach them how to cross the slop on the back and front side edge. Once they start getting confortable with that they will be tought how the control speed on their toe edge. We will then practice the transition between the toe and heel side postion to be able to link the turns. After that, they are able to ride down the slope doing both turns.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong> Your snowboarding background :</strong> You are a complete beginner, an expert carver or anything in between.<br> </p><p><strong> Lessons goal :</strong> Private lessons are the best option if you want a personalized approach to snowboarding. Learn the basics of snowboarding or improve as quickly as possible, try out freestyle, build your confidence, or discover the area with an instructor. <br> </p><p><strong> More :</strong> The instructor can meet you at the ski room of your hotel or in front of your apartment to start the lesson. A customized snowboard lesson, at your own pace, with an instructor just for you. If you wish, you can choose your instructor according to your desires and his or her field of expertise. </p> <p><strong>Do not forget:</strong> Skipass needed, and a bottle of water.<br></p>

<p>This lesson is specially made for people who do not know their level. No worries! You book in this course and we will contact you to determine your level together. Once in the resort, our teams will be there to welcome and inform you.<br></p>

<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> You know how to turn frontside and backside on blue slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover carving turns, off piste, freestyle, 180° jumps and rails. Discover your first switch turns. Work on the vertical mouvement and other technical aspects to improuve your skills.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard gold ». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group you will warm up on easy slopes. Then the goal is to improuve your technic so you can ride down all kinds of terrain in safe way. The instructor will help you discover your first carving turns. You will do your first complet switch turns. Your tricks will be more and more complex, like 180, rails at the park. It’s also time to start riding all terrains and off-piste. The instructor will explain how to adjust you gear depending on how you ride.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:00 to 16:30 before the 5th Feb and 17:00 after this date.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Gold Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old).
