Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> You are confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions and skills improvement on bigger modules and jumps at the park. Carving on red slopes and being able to adapte riding to the terrain. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard expert». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group you will hit the slopes. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, you will mostly ride off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with your instructor. The instructor will help the group to increase your techniqual skills to be able to adapte your riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. You will be taught how to use the off piste security equpement. You will also go to the park and hit bigger modules and practice more tricks.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong> Experience :</strong> Your child knows how to turn toe and heel side on blue slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover carving turns, off piste, freestyle, 180 jumps and rails. Discovering their first switch turns. Work on the vertical mouvement and other technical aspects to improuve skills.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard gold ». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group your child will warm up on easy slopes. Then the goal is to improuve their technic so they can ride down all kinds of terrain in safe way. The instructor will help them discover their first carving turns. Your children will do their first complet switch turns. The tricks will be more and more complex, like 180 jumps, rails at the park. It’s also time to start riding all terrains and off-piste. The instructor will expain on how to adjust gear depending on how you ride.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> We are also proposing a full package with lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities with the instructors before the afternoon programs. The Gold Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p>

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong>You have already skied for 5 to 10 weeks. You are comfortable with your equipment. You ski with ease on red runs, parallel skis with vertical movement. You can control your speed and trajectory on all types of slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Linking turns with various radiuses, starting to ski on diverse terrain, refining carving technique. Introduction to off-piste skiing and its safety rules.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group under the A2 flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest some exercises to get back on your feet on blue and red runs. Over the course of the week and through exercises and repetition,You will refine your technique, discover new sensations, and share new experiences with your group. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice parallel turns on all types of trails. You will gain confidence and skills to move to the next level safely.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong>Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30.&lt;<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 3 adult ski group lessons are limited to 8 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don’t forget your lift pass ! We advise you to take a 3 Valleys ski pass. If you wish to take a Val Thorens ski pass only, ask your instructor which days he/she will go to the 3 Valleys. In this case, you will have the possibility to buy an extension the day before the course. <br></p>

Become a more versatile skier and expand your knowledge of the mountain.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong>On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group under the A4 flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest exercises to get you back on track. During the week, you will discover the 3 Valleys and the magnificent off-piste skiing of the region. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice carving turns or other types of advanced techniques and positions.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30..<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 4 adult ski group lessons are limited to 8 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing.
