Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your 5 or more years old has never skied before or just once, a couple of hours.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discovering this new gear and environment, improving coordination, moving around with skis on in our kindergarten. Learning skills such as getting up, breaking the speed, stopping and do Snowplough turns on green slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Weekly program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to discover the ski school, and the kindergarten. He will meet the instructors and the other children of the group. After a warm up, the group will get acquainted with the ski equipment practicing on different practice set ups. Without skis at first, then one ski on, and once they are ready, with both ! They’ll use our private magic carpet and make their first slides, easy turns and stops in the Prosneige kindergarten. After a couple days, regarding the evolution, the children will be able to practice with their instructor on the beginner area of Val Thorens, outside the kindergarten. They’ll learn how to safely use the big magic carpet of the resort and might also take a chairlift ! By the end of the week, they will proudly show you their new skills on green slopes ! <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30. <br> <strong>More :</strong> The Brown Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and your child have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on friday in the kindergarten. </p>

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong> You have more than 10 weeks of experience. You are at ease on all types of terrain and wish to deepen your technical knowledge.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Improve your technical skills on the slopes, in the bumps, off-piste and on all types of snow. Travel the 3 Valleys area on and off piste. Become a more versatile skier and expand your knowledge of the mountain.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong>On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group under the A4 flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest exercises to get you back on track. During the week, you will discover the 3 Valleys and the magnificent off-piste skiing of the region. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice carving turns or other types of advanced techniques and positions.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 4 adult ski group lessons are limited to 8 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself</p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> 3 valleys Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget to take some water and snacks to keep your energy level up !!<br></p>

<p><strong> Your snowboarding background :</strong> You are a complete beginner, an expert carver or anything in between.<br> </p><p><strong> Lessons goal :</strong> Private lessons are the best option if you want a personalized approach to snowboarding. Learn the basics of snowboarding or improve as quickly as possible, try out freestyle, build your confidence, or discover the area with an instructor. <br> </p><p><strong> More :</strong> The instructor can meet you at the ski room of your hotel or in front of your apartment to start the lesson. A customized snowboard lesson, at your own pace, with an instructor just for you. If you wish, you can choose your instructor according to your desires and his or her field of expertise. </p> <p><strong>Do not forget:</strong> Val Thorens or 3 Vallées skipass according to what you want to do, and a bottle of water.<br></p>

<p><strong>The experience of your child :</strong> From 5 years old - Introduction and first contact with a snowboard for your little ones.<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong> It is the only lesson where we ask you to stay close to your child, in fact the goal is to give him confidence with his first little ride, and first contact with the equipment, you can help the instructors.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 5pm. Right after nap time, making sure the children will be full of energy.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> Snwoboard equipment rental included with the lesson. During the lesson, you can watch your kid's first slides from the terrasse of our chalet. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your camera. Unforgettable moment guaranted, helping your child to get ready for a nice week in the kindergarten the year after.<br>
