Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have a couple of days to a week of experience. They know how to put the skis on, and get up by themselves. They know how to change direction with the snowplough position and stop on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Do Snowplough turns on green slopes, discover what “Parallel skis” means, move around easily with skis on using side stepping and duck climb.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to know the instructors and the other members of the White Bear level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on the big magic carpets in front of our school. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As they learn new skills and improve during the week, they will practice with their instructor on green and blue slopes as well as the fun park. They will be using cabinlifts and chairlifts. The beginner ski pass is mandatory on the first day. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30. <br> <strong>More :</strong> We also offer a full package for lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities with the instructors before the afternoon programs. The White Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child has the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on Fridays, at the top of our kindergarten. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their Skipass and a snack in their pocket for the break ! <br></p>

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong> You have more than 10 weeks of experience. You are at ease on all types of terrain and wish to deepen your technical knowledge.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Improve your technical skills on the slopes, in the bumps, off-piste and on all types of snow. Travel the 3 Valleys area on and off piste. Become a more versatile skier and expand your knowledge of the mountain.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong>On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group under the A4 flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest exercises to get you back on track. During the week, you will discover the 3 Valleys and the magnificent off-piste skiing of the region. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice carving turns or other types of advanced techniques and positions.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself</p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> 3 valleys Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget to take some water and snacks to keep your energy level up !!<br></p>

<p><strong>The experience of your child :</strong> He/She is confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions. Practicing skills improvement, carving on red slopes and being able to adapt the radius of their turns depening on the terrain. The group will also ptactice their freestyle tricks at the park.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag snowboard expert. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, they will practice on off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with their instructor. They will be taught how to use the off piste security équipement. The instructor will help the group to increase their techniqual skills to be able to adapte their riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. They will also practice and learn tricks at the snow park.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong> Experience :</strong> Your child knows how to turn toe and heel side on blue slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover carving turns, off piste, freestyle, 180 jumps and rails. Discovering their first switch turns. Work on the vertical mouvement and other technical aspects to improuve skills.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard gold ». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group your child will warm up on easy slopes. Then the goal is to improuve their technic so they can ride down all kinds of terrain in safe way. The instructor will help them discover their first carving turns. Your children will do their first complet switch turns. The tricks will be more and more complex, like 180 jumps, rails at the park. It’s also time to start riding all terrains and off-piste. The instructor will expain on how to adjust gear depending on how you ride.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30.
