Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<strong>The activity :</strong> . Discover Val Thorens in another way, take the time to enjoy the local fauna and flora.<br> <p><strong>Hours :</strong> From 17:00 to 19:00, Tuesday and Thursday.<br> <strong>More :<strong> Adult group are limited to 6 people. Each one progresses at its own pace.</strong></strong></p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> You can rent snowshoes and poles at our Prosneige shops and rentals. Bring a backpack that can hold your jacket, suncream, sunglasses/googles, a bottle of water and picnic/energy snack.<br>

<p>This ski lesson is specially made for parents and grandparents who do not know their children's level. No worries! You book your child in this course and we will contact you to determine your child's level together. Once in Val Thorens, our teams will be there to welcome and inform you.<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your 5 or more years old has never skied before or just once, a couple of hours.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discovering this new gear and environment, improving coordination, moving around with skis on in our kindergarten. Learning skills such as getting up, breaking the speed, stopping and do Snowplough turns on green slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Weekly program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to discover the ski school, and the kindergarten. He will meet the instructors and the other children of the group. After a warm up, the group will get acquainted with the ski equipment practicing on different practice set ups. Without skis at first, then one ski on, and once they are ready, with both ! They’ll use our private magic carpet and make their first slides, easy turns and stops in the Prosneige kindergarten. After a couple days, regarding the evolution, the children will be able to practice with their instructor on the beginner area of Val Thorens, outside the kindergarten. They’ll learn how to safely use the big magic carpet of the resort and might also take a chairlift ! By the end of the week, they will proudly show you their new skills on green slopes ! <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30. <br> <strong>More :</strong> The Brown Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and your child have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on friday in the kindergarten. </p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has more than 10 weeks of experience. He is comfortable on all kind of slopes with small and large turns. He knows the different ski disciplines and has been introduced to some of them.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Develop new technical skills on the slopes, deepen his knowledge of the snowpark, make changes of rhythm on varied terrain while maintaining control. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, the skiers get to know their instructors and the other children in the Pro-rider level. The groups start together, warm up on skis and then harmonize. The groups will be divided according to the children's ability, age and desires. During the first half day, your child will get back on track with technical exercises set up by the instructor. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on the fact of evolving in safety in the resort in order to gain autonomy. Develop virtuosity skills, such as skiing on one ski, in reverse, without poles...and perfect the technique learned during the previous weeks of skiing. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Pro Rider ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and has the opportunity to change groups during the week. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, under the Pro-Rider meeting point flag. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen ! <br></p>
