Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong> You have more than 10 weeks of experience. You are at ease on all types of terrain and wish to deepen your technical knowledge.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Improve your technical skills on the slopes, in the bumps, off-piste and on all types of snow. Travel the 3 Valleys area on and off piste. Become a more versatile skier and expand your knowledge of the mountain.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong>On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group under the A4 flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest exercises to get you back on track. During the week, you will discover the 3 Valleys and the magnificent off-piste skiing of the region. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice carving turns or other types of advanced techniques and positions.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 4 adult ski group lessons are limited to 8 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself</p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> 3 valleys Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget to take some water and snacks to keep your energy level up !!<br></p>

<p><strong>The experience of your child :</strong> He/She is confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions. Practicing skills improvement, carving on red slopes and being able to adapt the radius of their turns depening on the terrain. The group will also ptactice their freestyle tricks at the park.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag snowboard expert. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, they will practice on off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with their instructor. They will be taught how to use the off piste security équipement. The instructor will help the group to increase their techniqual skills to be able to adapte their riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. They will also practice and learn tricks at the snow park.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Carving on red slopes and being able to adapte riding to the terrain. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard expert». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group you will hit the slopes. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, you will mostly ride off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with your instructor. The instructor will help the group to increase your techniqual skills to be able to adapte your riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. You will be taught how to use the off piste security equpement. You will also go to the park and hit bigger modules and practice more tricks.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have skied in between 2 and 4 weeks. They are confident on blue slopes and start to turn parallel.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Make parallel turns on blue slopes, master the side slipping technique, anticipate ground movements and be able to do some skating to move around. Ski with poles without them to be a struggle. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 2nd Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a blue slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back on easy slopes. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Those exercises will facilitate their parallel turns on blue slopes. Regarding the evolution, they will get introduced to red slopes. They will speak more in depth of the Safe skiers rules. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 2nd ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. They can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, under the 2nd ski meeting point flag. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>
