Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong>The experience of your child :</strong> He/She is confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions. Practicing skills improvement, carving on red slopes and being able to adapt the radius of their turns depening on the terrain. The group will also ptactice their freestyle tricks at the park.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag snowboard expert. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, they will practice on off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with their instructor. They will be taught how to use the off piste security équipement. The instructor will help the group to increase their techniqual skills to be able to adapte their riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. They will also practice and learn tricks at the snow park.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong> Your skiing background :</strong> You are a complete beginner, an expert carver or anything in between.<br> </p><p><strong> Lessons goal :</strong> Private lessons are the best option if you want a personalized approach to skiing. Learn the basics of skiing or improve as quickly as possible, try out freestyle, build your confidence, or discover the area with a ski instructor. <br> </p><p><strong> More :</strong> The instructor can meet you at the ski-room of your hotel or in front of your apartment to start the lesson. A customized ski lesson, at your own pace, with an instructor just for you. If you wish, you can choose your instructor according to your desires and his or her field of expertise. </p> <p><strong>Do not forget:</strong> Val Thorens or 3 Vallées skipass according to what you want to do, and a bottle of water.<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have a couple of days to a week of experience. They know how to put the skis on, and get up by themselves. They know how to change direction with the snowplough position and stop on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Do Snowplough turns on green slopes, discover what “Parallel skis” means, move around easily with skis on using side stepping and duck climb.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to know the instructors and the other members of the White Bear level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on the big magic carpets in front of our school. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As they learn new skills and improve during the week, they will practice with their instructor on green and blue slopes as well as the fun park. They will be using cabinlifts and chairlifts. The beginner ski pass is mandatory on the first day. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday morning lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30. From Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon lessons are from 14:30 to 16:30. <br> <strong>More :</strong> We also offer a full package for lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities with the instructors before the afternoon programs. The White Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child has the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on Fridays, at the top of our kindergarten. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their Skipass and a snack in their pocket for the break ! <br></p>
