Ze Hero at Val Thorens

<p><strong> Your skiing background :</strong> You are a complete beginner, an expert carver or anything in between.<br> </p><p><strong> Lessons goal :</strong> Private lessons are the best option if you want a personalized approach to skiing. Learn the basics of skiing or improve as quickly as possible, try out freestyle, build your confidence, or discover the area with a ski instructor. <br> </p><p><strong> More :</strong> The instructor can meet you at the ski-room of your hotel or in front of your apartment to start the lesson. A customized ski lesson, at your own pace, with an instructor just for you. If you wish, you can choose your instructor according to your desires and his or her field of expertise. </p> <p><strong>Do not forget:</strong> Val Thorens or 3 Vallées skipass according to what you want to do, and a bottle of water.<br></p>

<p><strong> Experience :</strong> Beginner, your child has never tried snowboarding before or just a couple of hours (or on dry slopes).<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Controlling speed with heel side or toe side skid and beeing able to do both turns on a green slope.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard bronz ». He-she will be introduced to you instructor and the rest of the group. The instructor will then explain how the gear works. Your child will do his-here first slides in a straight line in the biginner area. After you get familiar with the balance he-she will be taught how to change directions. At first they might fall so the instructor will also give them different tips on how to get up. During their progression they will discover wich foot they have in front on the board (goofy or regular). Then we will start to learn how to control speed on the heel edge. The instructor will then teach them how to cross the slop on the back and front side edge. Once they start getting confortable with that they will be tought how the control speed on their toe edge. We will then practice the transition between the toe and heel side postion to be able to link the turns. After that, they are able to ride down the slope doing both turns.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> You are confortable on all types of terrains and snow conditions.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Freestyle/Backcountry, mostly off-piste sessions and skills improvement on bigger modules and jumps at the park. Carving on red slopes and being able to adapte riding to the terrain. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard expert». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group you will hit the slopes. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, you will mostly ride off-pistes and discover the 3 Valleys with your instructor. The instructor will help the group to increase your techniqual skills to be able to adapte your riding to all kinds of snow and terrain. You will be taught how to use the off piste security equpement. You will also go to the park and hit bigger modules and practice more tricks.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Expert Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). <p><strong>The experience of your child :</strong> From 5 years old - Introduction and first contact with a snowboard for your little ones.<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong> It is the only lesson where we ask you to stay close to your child, in fact the goal is to give him confidence with his first little ride, and first contact with the equipment, you can help the instructors.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 5pm. Right after nap time, making sure the children will be full of energy.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> Snwoboard equipment rental included with the lesson. During the lesson, you can watch your kid's first slides from the terrasse of our chalet. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your camera. Unforgettable moment guaranted, helping your child to get ready for a nice week in the kindergarten the year after.<br>
