SNOWBOARD BRONZE 6 mornings
<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> Beginner, you have never tried snowboarding before or just a couple of hours (or on dry slopes).<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Controlling speed with a heel edge or toe edge skid and beeing able to do turns on a green slope.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard bronz ». You will be introduced to you instructor and the rest of the group. The instructor will then explain how the gear works. You will do your first slides in a straight line in the biginner area. After you get familiar with the balance you will be taught how to change directions. At first you might fall so the instructor will also give you different tips on how to get up. During your progression you will discover wich foot you have in front on the board (goofy or regular). Then we will start to learn how to control your speed on the back side edge. The instructor will then teach you how to cross the slop on the back and front side edge. Once you start getting confortable with that you will be taught on how to control speed on your toe edge, the instructor will help you with the toe edge skid. We will then practice the transition between the toe and heel edge postion to be able to link the turns. After you are able to ride down the slope doing both turns you will be taught your first flat tricks like 180 slides.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 adults (from 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own paces and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

1ST SKI 6 afternoons
<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have done between 1 and 3 weeks of skiing. They know how to do snowplough turns and stop on green and blue slopes. They can also get up on their own after a fall, and move around using the side stepping technique or the duck climb.They were also introduced to the parallel position on flat terrain. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Learning the first steps of parallel turns such as parallel crossings and side slipping on easy green and blue slopes. Challenge their balance on a bumpy course. Discover the Safe skiers rules and respect them. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 1st Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a green slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As the week goes on, they will practice with different exercises to achieve their weekly goal and gain confidence skiing on blue slopes. Regarding the evolution, the ski poles will be introduced to them during the week.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:30 to 16:30.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 1st ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. They can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on Fridays, in front of the ski school. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

3RD SKI 6 mornings
<p><strong>Skiing background : </strong> Your child has skied in between 3 to 5 weeks. He/she skis parallel on blue slopes and already had a first experience on red slopes. Skates to move around if needed, and anticipate ground mouvements. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Parallel turns, both short and long on red slopes. Learning new techniques to improve parallel stop. Your child will identify where it is safe to stop on the slopes, and regulate his speed according to his environment. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 3rd Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a blue or easy red slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back on easier slopes. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Those exercises will facilitate their parallel turns and stops on red slopes by improving the position.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 3rd ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa in our chalet.
